Returns & Refunds

Painting images displayed within Skot Art Gallery are colour accurate and represent the painting as viewed in person. I have no intention of selling artwork that is not accurately represented in my online art shop. Paintings that are either pick-upped from the studio or delivered are considered a final sale after an in person viewing and signature release.

*Important notice on refund eligibility.

In order to be eligible for a total purchase refund due to damage after a signature release upon delivery. I require photos of the box/crate before opening it, so I may see the box was shipped in good condition.

 Paintings shipped are eligible for a refund on a damage bases only. Paintings showing damage thru the box or into the inside crate should not be signed for upon delivery or when picked up at a carriers pick up location. Send photos of any apparent damage you see upon rejecting a shipment and send them to my studio contact email ASAP.  I use professional reputable national and international carriers, damaged goods arriving to their destinations shouldn’t be an issue. I request that the carrier requires a signature to release the shipment to the customer, thus any damage apparent into the box and through into the protective crate and should not be signed for by a recipient and thus relieving the recipient of any responsibility of a damaged artwork and a full refund is guaranteed.

 If the recipient requests a refund on an artwork due to damage to the painting not apparent upon to the box/crate upon delivery and after its signature release, It’s important to note to be eligible for a refund I require photos of the shipment’s box upon arrival and unopened, and if there appears damage to the painting within I require more detailed photos of any damage to the painting and these photos must be sent to my studio for review ASAP. Refunds are reviewed on case by case bases. *After a review and refund eligibility requirements are met and accepted as valid a full purchase refund due to damage only will expire 5 days after the signature release date.
